I do my Pulmo BEFORE hts. I find that if I dont I get very wheezy while doing the hts. I feel as though the thinning of the mucus (which is what Pulmo does) works better for me to get it out (which is what the hts is for).

And yes I do my vest while doing hts...I also do it while doing pulmo, but I dont believe you are supposed to do that. I am already strapped for time in the AM so I have to do it that way.

CF Bites-

I really don't know their reason. I think that I remember them saying that they can both agitate the lung and should be separated. I also have a problem with bleeding so maybe it's only me that they're concerned for.

Since I've read on here that Pulmozyme can work up to 4 hours, I do it after the HS. I also do my vest inbetween, to get all the stuff the vest loosens up out of the way. My thoughts are to get the more loose junk out of the way with the HS and vest, so the Pulmozyme can get to the "tougher" stuff. I guess those two really depend on personal preference, . I also have do my Advair before inhaled antibiotics, because I don't tolerate Tobi well without it (but this isn't the normal recommendation, ask your dr., blah blah.. ).
