After spending the day at the CF Clinic, ughh! I got comfy in my car and was driving home. I know this is gross; but, I've seen worse on here. I coughed up a couple of tbsp. of blood with globs of mucous. I was non-productive there for a while during this exacerbation and have been on steroids now for about a week. There was nothing hard about my production. Could that have been a nice plug clearance for me. I was smart enough to go back to my doc, who was still there thankfully. He said we could be opening up some airways and getting some of that old crap out of there and to keep a close eye on things and call him if it gets worse. There has been no more blood and no chest pain at all. Do ya all think I might have cleared some stuff from this garbage I've had? I am just hoping some of my non-productive cough is finally yielding something for me.
