pneumococcal vaccine

This is interesting. I have had several CF docs tell me that I do not need the shot b/c it won't help. I don't no how true that is so some more information would be great.

Wow the poor level of CF care some people receive never ceases to infuriate me.

I have been getting them since they first came out..

At first It was thought that it was a Life Time shot,,, Pft..
Then it went to every 7 years to what it is now, Every 5 years..

I get them every 5 years.. Mel come on, You can't still be afraid
of shots. I know You have had a bunch over the years.
Heck, I can even take my own IV out. I have a number of times
when they wait until the very min of a hospital stay to remove it.


Get a shot Jessica, it won't hurt you to have one.
I do not know how many I have had and I am still kicking..
My Mother who is 82 has been getting them as long as I have.
She has No Cf also.
