Emily, thank you for your reply. When I saw this post, I was distrubed. I understand the reasoning behind it, but I would never want ANYONE banned unless they were threatening the health and safety of the site or anyone on the site. I have said time and again, and so have others--Amy is a valuable an important member of our site. I have learned an unmeasurable amount of knowledge about Cf because of her. Amy makes me angry sometimes over a tactless remark that flips off her head, but she is OUR AMY. When I talk to to Jeanne, we always call Amy "OUR AMY". As was said, if you disagree with her, just call her out. She is able to take what she gives. For some reason there is an animosity between Seanna and Amy, Amy always knows how to get under Seanna's skin with a tactless remark.
There is a reason for the Golden Rule; To do unto others as you would have others do unto you.It applies to the mouth to, Say unto others . . .
We are all sisters and brothers united against this disease. We may bicker and even call each other names, but we should still love each other. I'm not Mother Teresa, I have a temper, and I say things I wish I could call back sometimes--well a lot of times.
Amy is an only child, if she had had a brother or sister, they would have probably had some little fights, as brothers and sisters tend to do. That's what we are here--a family, we fight, love , cry, and feel for one another. If one of you really needed Amy she would be there for you--in a minute!
I care about Seanna, and I care about Amy. My sister is 3 years younger than me. When we had fights, my mom would make us kiss each other and make up. We'd be mad as heck at each other, and then at mom for making us kisse each other, but then we'd look at each other and start laffing at the look on our faces.
As I type this , I am crying for the brothers and sisters a lot of you couldnt'have, or lost, or mothers and fathers who couldn't have other children, or who have other children with cf. We should focus our energies on hating CF, not each other.
