Just a word or two about the pre-programmed settings.

With the respirtech vest, you can still control the frequency and pressure with a push of a button.

There is also a "quick start" mode where you just turn it on, and it does a 30 minute routine consisting of 10, 3-minute cycles of varying pressure and frequency. It ramps up gradually then comes down gradually.

You can still have a great deal of control over your therapy. I like the quick start mode because it affords me the opportunity to just put the thing on and get shakin'. It's very conducive to multitasking that way.
