I believe the fundraiser was at the famous NYC restaurent Cipriani's. I think it was a celeb type fundraiser, but I don't know if there were events there. My hubby and I belong to the Zagat club for food critics, and we got a notice about it, but could't afford to attend something like that!
Rosie is an activist for alot of things which is why I like her as a person, but not as the new host on the View! She drowns out everyone else!
But since she did something good for us, I'll say YEA ROSIE!!

Thanks for the quote Lauren. It's interesting that someone would mention Cf as a killer of kids, you don't hear that.

I despise Rosie's politics. However, I must give credit where credit is due, and I am grateful for her fundraising efforts. God Bless her for her efforts.

Thanks for posting the links. I couldn't open the one that lists celebrity involvement, but I googled CF and Celebrities and had a good time leafing through what came up. Found out that two of my favorite "guilty pleasures" have recently been involved in fund raising... The CEO of CARIBOU COFFEE (yum - I knoew there was a reason I was willing to pay $3.99 a cup...) and Paula Dean from Food Network (I swear Emily is enthralled by the woman, all she has to do is hear that Southern Drawl and she sits down in front of the tv and stares for the entire 30 minutes. Could be the butter - the woman uses at least 1/4 cup in every recipie LOL!) Anyway, it was a fun little diversion for me tonight, so - Thanks!
