ROSIE ODONNELL & CF

Thanks for posting the links. I couldn't open the one that lists celebrity involvement, but I googled CF and Celebrities and had a good time leafing through what came up. Found out that two of my favorite "guilty pleasures" have recently been involved in fund raising... The CEO of CARIBOU COFFEE (yum - I knoew there was a reason I was willing to pay $3.99 a cup...) and Paula Dean from Food Network (I swear Emily is enthralled by the woman, all she has to do is hear that Southern Drawl and she sits down in front of the tv and stares for the entire 30 minutes. Could be the butter - the woman uses at least 1/4 cup in every recipie LOL!) Anyway, it was a fun little diversion for me tonight, so - Thanks!

Paula Dean participated in a "Sweatshirt Ball" hosted by Russel athletic. She designed, signed and acutioned off a sweatshirt to raise $$$ and, if I remember correctly, she attended the event. Don't you just love her? I have this fantasy that I'll win a contest and she'll come to my house to teach me how to make all that high-fat, high calorie yummy goodness... Ah, dreams!

The Joey Fund was started here in Boston. The family lives in Everett, MA and has been very active in the Boston area raising money for CF and the Joey Fund since 1986 when Joey passed away. I know the names are the same, but I wasn't aware there was a connection with Rosie and this family. I couldn't find any info on it, but now I'm curious.

I LOVE Paula Dean too! The best part is that she's not delicate about licking her fingers and scooping up spoonfuls of food. Why can't that be MY job?
