Soy, PIT, and CF

I have problems with soy if I overdo. I cut out soy completely but feel that eating Tempeh is good for me.

I muscle test weak to most soy products except for tempeh. I am going to go off Tempeh for a few weeks and test again to see if I am strong.

Sometimes when I eliminate a food that I have sensitivityt to, after a period of time where I no longer consume that product, I continue to test weak. It is like my body is saying enough already, you tried it and you cannot have it so why take it again lol

Good grief, so maybe that's why I was having so many digestive issues when I was using nothing but soy. As soon as I stopped using soy when I was in hospital, and went back to dairy, all of my digestive issues cleared up. You wouldn't believe how bloated I got on soy, or how painful my stomach got sometimes.

I believe the AquaADEK have a little selenium in them now and Dr. Warwick recommends selenium in the diet. But I'd want to know if I were even deficient first before supplementing. I don't think more than 200 micrograms is recommended but maybe there is specific info for CF I haven't run into. How much is right for you? I think you could do a blood test and might be worth asking about next time they do labs to see if they check it. Or get a holist MD to do a full vitamin panel on you to help you determine what to do if anything. Too much selenium can be toxic.

Brazil nuts are the best food source and they even say to limit them to 2 a day. Food rich in selenium include seafood (particularly tuna), turkey, brown rice, beef and some grains. Varies depending on soil since it is a trace mineral.
