I can't really help with the bleeding issue, but I have had chronic sinus infections for years until I changed a few things (I also don't have sinus polyps for the most part- just occasionally a small one that goes away with a spray).
I started taking singulair, and that took care of the chronic part, I went to an allergist (found out I am allergic to mold and feathers- and I was sleeping with a goosedown blanket), and got a good ENT who has actually seen cf noses, instead of the doctor I had previously whom I didn't like a bit, and who seemed clueless.
The last time I had a sinus infection that wouldn't go away, My new ENT prescribed me an inhaled antibiotic (if you want the name, I will look it up- don't remember right now-smelled like cat pee minus the ammonia- yeesh) and inhaled pulmicort, via an Aeroneb Go Ultrasonic nasal neb, and that did wonders.
The pharmacist I spoke to about those meds said that some people even use the nasal pulmicort for allergies. I don't know if that has helped you at all, but I thought I would throw it out there just in case. I was, years ago, scheduled for sinus surgery, that I cancelled, and this year, my new ENT pronounced my sinuses a "0" <img src="i/expressions/face-icon-small-smile.gif" border="0"> .
