Tammy,

I went to her caringbridge site last night and felt the need to read every journal entry. I don't know why, I just did. I felt she somehow deserved it. That one more person knows her and her story. My heart was breaking the whole time. To know what they went through and the hope they had for her future that is now gone. I just pray for them and for Kaylee...that she continues to make memories with her family and lives the rest of her life to the fullest.

Amanda, after reading your post, I went to the caringbridge and read her journal too. Had to keep the box of kleenex close. What a journey this family has been on--and now they are just living one day at a time--as they say "waiting for Kaylee to get her wings.." While we are having our petty arguments here, a family is watching every breath their daughter makes--cherishing every last smile...going to Dollywood. They are living life out loud, for as long as they can. We need to keep this family in our prayers.
