Tell me your "VEST
I don't like the vest. but I use it anyway.
...funny you bring this up, I was just cursing at mine today...
* It makes me itch all over, I have to stop frequently to scratch til I bleed.
* I have asthma and take short breaths as it is, even when the pressure is low on the vest, it's hard for me to breath...plus a lower pressure doesn't let it fit snuggly enough and then moves so that it's vibrating my kidneys, so that later that day I felt like I got punched in the kidneys.
* Furthermore, Unlike Jazzy'smom (melissa), I find it contributing to my lower back troubles. So much so that while in the hospital I have them use other methods - since I'm sitting around so much already, my back will spasm if I use the vest there, that on top of crappy hospital beds, I'm in agony.
However, It is the answer to those of us living alone etc.
I agree with Liza - I have to crank the tv to hear it while doing treatment. I'm thinking about getting earplugs to plug into the tv. Also, I agree it's rather cumbersome with the tubes - moving around a little bit can make them pop out, then you have to stop everything and fix it.
I'm also going to get the stand for mine, so that I can roll it around - right now it's on the floor - and that may help the problem with the tubes too. Dunno though.
I hate the vest, but I use it anyway.
Best Wishes
