Well, I got my computer up and running again!!
The boys had a really good day today, really busy. The only problem we have had today was an allergic reaction with the bandages wrapping Mikeys arm....all sorted now though. I swear they are allegic to just about everything when it comes to their skin.
As I said before they both have their midlines as of today. The are running meropenem and ceftazidime. They have never been on the letter as far as I know. Does anyone know anything about it? Side effects etc?
Im really hoping that we have more days like today as the weekend was pure hell. Had a heck of a time with ivs, meds (the cipro they were on burnt their veins!) It was nice to see them eating and smiles back on their faces today!
Hopefully we will be able to get them out for a few hours for thier birthday. We plan on taking them to the movies and then out for a meal, all going well. On Thursday they are making an ice cream cake for a party in the play room Friday morning.
