UPDATE ON OUR IVF PROCEDURE

Is that her beta HCG that they took? If it's at 35.83 and it's 6 days early, that could either be the HCG wearing off (the injection that releases the eggs) or it is very early in the pregnancy. Keep us posted. They took mine 3 days early. It's more likely that she's pregnant than it being left over HCG because the transfer was about 10 days ago now, and it takes 8-10 days to wear out of the system.

So excited for the results... Tyler and I went through that like 3 weeks ago, It was the longest wait of our life, then it was the wait to find out how many were in there. I'll keep you in my prayers!!!!

Here we are 3 days away from out test and we caved and took home pregnancy test. I know I know Julie this is a big no no but we couldn't resist. She only had to take 5000 units of the trigger shot instead of the 10000 units and from what we have read that little is usually out of you in 7 days. We are now 13 days since the trigger shot. Anyway the test was positive and checked 10 minutes later and it was still a clear positive. We are not getting are hopes up to much but it does give us some hope. August 1st cannot come quick enough!!!!

if she only took 5000 units then it should only take 5-6 days to get out of her system. So if it's showing a positive now, YOU ARE PREGNANT!!! I know it sounds funny, but TAKE A PICTURE OF IT! I have seen so many people who struggled to get pregnant (or in "our" case, had to do IVF) and regret NOT taking a picture.

Start taking lots of pictures! My goal was a belly picture a week, altough I didn't do many "couple" pictures, or pictures of me without the bare belly, and I wish I had. So get that camera ready!!

I'm so thrilled for you two. Get ready to be mommy and daddy!

We are trying to be calm and not get our hopes up to much until the pregnancy test even though everything we read says we are pregnant we are trying to be calm about it (IT IS SO HARD!!!) We can't sleep and there are still 2 days left!!! I am sure we may sneak another pregnancy test <img src="i/expressions/face-icon-small-smile.gif" border="0"> So If it is out of her system that fast it was out with the first blood test thursday at 35? and it doubles every two days?? That is levels showing more than one okay now I am getting ahead of myself. I know your husband thought he would never be able to father he own kids it is a miracle we are given the chance now.
