Hi Sonia, out of interest...what do you eat that doesn't work for you (i.e. what did you have bad experiences with)?
Any sugar the day of my workout also makes me suffer (exercise in evenings). I also haven't found any cereal yet that doesn't spike blood sugar so I also avoid this on my exercise days. I do best on 'real food', e.g. bit of stir fried brown rice+veggies+meat or even just an apple. Boring but works for me. Always have something after the workout too.
