What should I name it

When you register your domain you can register .org or .com (or any of a dozen other extensions). You just pick it when you register. Nothing special is required to do so.

BTW, I like the DACF and CFDA names. Since you're looking for something more interactive than passive.

Also you might want to clarify the subject of CF being a disability. My understanding is that it can lead to disability, but there are requirements that must be met for a CFer to be considered disabled. A CF DX in and of itself is not sufficient. Also are you only going to target assistance on the federal programs or possibly also state programs etc? That might impact your naming - specifically whether or not to mention Social Security in the name or tagline.

I do wish you the best of luck with this. Just be sure you've got yourself adequately covered in terms of liability etc... One can't be too careful in this litigious society we live in now a days. <img src="i/expressions/face-icon-small-smile.gif" border="0"> ~Juliet

Juliet,

I'm going to start with the federal programs (specifically Social Security Administration) and might expand into state programs (medicaid, Food Stamps...) if the resources are available and I have the time.

You are right, a CF diagnosis in itself is NOT enough to warrent Social Security Disability benefits.
