I did quite a bit of researching and I think we're going to go ahead and get him <img src="i/expressions/face-icon-small-smile.gif" border="0"> The sites I went to all said yorkies are naturally hypoallergenic, and don't shed & I think the kids would love him. I agree about the testing though, and I think I'm going to have that done. Thanks everyone!!

I hope you enjoy your new pet. My boss just got married this month, and his new wife has a lot of animals. He has asthma & allergies, and he's not had any trouble from her yorkie or her long-haired Chihauhau. The horse & donkey are another story. <img src="i/expressions/face-icon-small-wink.gif" border="0">

Funny side note though. The two dogs got together, and now there is a litter of long-haired Chih/yorkie mix puppies. Very cute I might add. He keeps telling me that it's my job to help him find homes for them. Ha! He thinks I need one. Yeah right! Not happening! I just have to keep my husband and kids away from them. <img src="i/expressions/face-icon-small-tongue.gif" border="0">

I hope I'm right! I spent an hour at the in-laws the other night, (they have 3 cats and a dog) and almost went blind...no joke! My eye swelled up, and they were both watering like crazy!! Then I started sneezing my head off...I finally had to leave!
