If the center is 4 hours away, are the appts still weekly?
What happens if something acute occurs? Where do you go, the local hospital?
do you 'trade in' your cf nurse hotline for a transplant nurse hotline? (some sarcasm there)

Has anyone had a therapy dog come visit them while they were in recovery at the hospital from transplant?
Many hospitals have therapy dog programs. Did the hospital where you got transplanted allow therapy dogs to come visit?
I know transplant is much different than a regular pre-tx admission...
I am curious what the average time is for days in the hospital after your transplant?
How many days were you in before you could go home?
Thanks for sharing.

I got a new one and now I don't need the old one.
There is nothing wrong with it.
You'll need two new pipes and the vest part.
It works great.
She received a double lung transplant several years ago. She had a contract with Nike and was releasing a book but I can't find anything recent about her on the internet.
Does she still have a website and non profit org? Anyone know anything about her?

'medical/drug trials' or something like that?
There is adults, families, pregnancy, newly diagnosed, nutrition, in the hospital, ect.
Isnt there enough discussion about new trials to have its own topic heading?
