Hi Kelly, Im new to this site, but I have some input on the first post you wrote (6/27??). My daughter Lara is being checked for CF, she went for genetic testing on 6/11 and I wont know for sure until mid august, I just keep praying she doesnt have it. I am going to try and make a long story...

I am so very sorry about your sons DX; I know how hard the waiting is, and agree with you on the devasting news.... from what I have been reading on this site and others about CF, this disease has come a very long way and seems somewhat controllable (if control is possible) with all the new meds...

Thanks for all the responses again..... Laras Pulmonologist said the results would take about 8 weeks to come back (we went for the test around the 1st week in June) so I'm guessing around the 2nd week of Aug. It seems as if time is standing still. All I can do is pray that she doesnt have it...
