Hey Tamara,
I am an RN on a med/surg unit of a hospital. I work usually 3 12-hour shifts/week. I have to say that this is really convenient as opposed to working monday through friday, as it is easier to schedule doctor's appointments and not have to miss work.
Another thing that is...
Hey Regina,
I normally take HTS daily with my evening treatments (I take Xopenex, and then HTS with the vest). I recently was admitted to the hospital to start a round of IV antibiotics, and my doc decided to hold the HTS while I was in the hospital because I was getting Xopenex and the vest...

Hello everyone,
I had an 17 week sonogram done today, and everything was normal (we found out we are having a little girl!) except on the report, it mentioned Echogenic bowel. The doc said this is sometimes normal, but can be a marker for CF, Down's syndrome, or several other disorders. We had...

Hi Cindy,
I can understand how frustrating it is when you are trying to get pregnant and not having luck. My husband and I were TTC'ing for over a year before I finally got pregnant in February. As far as the ovulation kits, I wouldn't 24-48 hours after a positive test. As I see it, it's safer...

Hey everyone!
I have been told by several people that when their babies were born, the initial newborn screening showed positive for CF, and after some additional testing, it was showed to be a false-positive, and that the child didn't have CF.
Well, I am wondering if it is that common to have a...

Yes, I forgot about the Vitex. I had long cycles, usually around 38-39 days, and I started taking the Vitex, and my next cycle was only 35 days, and then I found out that I had gotten pregnant on that cycle. Whether it was actually the Vitex that did it, or it was just a coincidence, who knows...

Hey Teri,
It would make sense that you ovulation would be late this cycle if you were sick earlier in the cycle. One thing that I did and made me feel a lot more certain about when I was ovulating was using the ovulation kits. They are expensive, but for me it was worth it.
Also, if you...
