I really do not take much precautions when I am outside. However, if someone is sick I stay FAR away! But in general if I am outside I feel not much can transfer to me. I do eat the food never really thought about it. I would not touch anybody who has CF and stay 3 feet away from them. Good luck!

Pretty much all the suggestions are spot on. But I would also bring some toilet paper! HA HA. Seriously, the TP at the hospital is like sand paper. And not sure about you , but the IV drugs give me diarhea (sp.?) so TP is crucial. HA HA. Good luck! And feel better!

I was using the Eflow aka the TRIO for Albuterol, HTS, Pulmo and then Colistin and the metal head just could NOT handle all that and it completely defeated the purpose of using the E-flow technology cause it was sooooo slow. So I just use my TRIO for Coli and my Alterra for Cayston with no...

So I have been on Cayston since last January and at first it felt like Cayston was AWESOME. Now I feel worse on my Cayston months than my Colistin months. It seems the Cayston makes me wheezy, congested and tight chest feeling. The symptoms are most bothersome late in the day and into the...

Picc lines are wonderful. they use an ultrasound to find the vein and then once they find it, it is a little prick to numb the vein and then they place the picc and you do not feel a thing! The anxiety comes from all the prep work they have to do. But it is a piece of cake, user friendly, can be...
