My drs. said that you shouldn't even do a sweat test on someone until they are at least 3 months. We did a blood test on my daughter and she is definitley a carrier but did not have CF.

I agree with Emily, Although I know I wouldn't be a completely different person. CF has helped to mold me into who I am and I am very proud of that person. On the second hand I also agree with Winace in that why ask questions in which there can truly never be an answer or a result in this...
Vanessa.
I am so sorry that you are going through such a difficult time right now. I hope that things are looking up since your last post. Always remember there are people that care for you and like Luke said most importantly you need to care for yourself. I wish I could help you in some...
I was using it twice a day for quite a while due to nearly having a blockage in my bowel. AS things have regulated though I only use it when I feel I am starting to get backed up. I don't use it everyday at all. I actulaly haven't used it for quite some time.

Cutecurlz I know that Julie already gave you the info as did Emily but did you read any of the other posts of men with CF actually having children? Such as my brother for one that now have twins and yes they are his. The one could be his twin from 27 years ago<img...
Leah,
I am sorry that you are feeling so overwhelmed. I can totally feel for you. My mom went through this with my dad. She had 3 children two with CF and it finally got the both of them. They divorced when I was 5. I am in no way saying this is where you are heading. My dad just wasnt...
Thanks, I love the name Cambree as well and it is very fitting for our rambunxious daughter. As for getting the info. It is very annoying and I really don't understand why it is such a big deal. Good luck though I hope you are successful.

I completely agree with you on that notion not detailing it that is. I have honestly had nightmares about it and woke up sweating thinking that it was happening again. Scary times. I am glad that they are passed and hope that they remain there<img...
I guarantee that he will be dealing with his wife for much longer than 11 to 12 years. If there son gets married has children they will always be dealing with each other, grandkids etc. I only say this because my parents are divorced and 20 years later they are still dealing with each other...
My brother and his wife did invetro and to their amazement now have beautiful twin boys that are 9 months old.
Just thought I would share<img src="i/expressions/face-icon-small-smile.gif" border="0">

I actually am terrified of motorcycles. I am not quite sure why. My dad used to take me when I was little and we would drive up the canyon. I always thought I was going to fall off the side of the mountain. My husband and I have a scooter. Much safer I think it just doesnt have as much...
I promise I am not trying to start another thread on this but I do want to clarify that I was the one in fact that nearly drown in my own blood. I reread my thread and it could have very well been misinterpreted that I was quoting the part that I wrote and not the part above that the anonymous...
If you're gonna list ailments that we get, please don't make up rubbish about drowing in blood. There is no way you'd live long enough to drown in blood unless you underwent a operation. Your lungs would pack out long before then.
To the Anonymous poster that wrote this:
I nearly did...
I just have a quick question for Lilith. Not that I am saying you should have chidren I am just wondering why you stated that you know if you have a child that they will have CF? Just because you have CF does not guarantee that your child will. I am just saying this in case you were...
I have to agree that the thought of someone aborting a child with CF makes me very sad as well. I am just so glad that my parents decided to have more children after my brother was diagnosed or I wouldn't be here. I posted to the abortion post and basically said the same thing that I am saying...
