Just in reply to your question about the vest: People in the US are able to obtain the vest through their insurance. Im in Australia, and would have to purchase the vest (which has just become available here)...the cost here is $14000 for the pump part of the vest, and $500 for the actual...

Well, I've done a google search and every thing I have read seems to indicate that NAC is good for your liver, and is actually recommended for hepatitis etc.
