I've used milkthistle with Sam, the best way to use any type of supplement (so they say!), is to use for say a month (or two), and have a break for a few weeks. I havent had his alt levels checked afterward, but know that it does work to support and rejuvenate the liver. I would usually use it...

I think Mannatech does do some good for many people...you have to be on it for at least six months to allow the glyconutrients to be effective at a cellular level...IF they are effective. Many people seem to swear by them, however I would like to see a trial for it as well. What really irks me...

I am also sorry that you are dealing with this situation without any support, and hope you are home now. I think that the thing that worked for me recently with my son was to just take things one day at a time (I know it's cliche...), but it really does help, just for today, I will deal with...
