104 Model vest - having problems?

Wheezie - Yes! That's exactly it! And, now that it doesn't inflate as tightly, I CAN take a deep breath, which is new to me, cause before it was tough to do that. Hmmm... not sure which way is "normal"... LOL. But, glad its not just me.

Rockingdog - They actually sent me a new vest, generator, and tubing (as mentioned above), but it all feels exactly the same. Did yours feel much tighter when you got a new one??

Thanks, guys!

They changed the vest a few yrs back. The newer vest has holes in the side that lets air out and makes it easier to breathe. Not sure if this is what you have noticed. Sharon, mom of Sophia, 5 and Jack, 3 both with cf

Yes, mine felt much tighter. There was an obvious difference between the defective unit and the new unit. If they sent you a new unit, it must be fine. I cannot imagine that they would have sent you a defective unit. Even with the new unit, I could still breathe.

Yes, I cannot imagine they sent a defective one. Even the lady said they go through "testing" before being sent out (as they are refurbished afterall). So, it must have past their quality control. I just think its odd that for 2 years it was very tight when it inflated and now it is very easy to push it in and breathe just all of a sudden.

Rockingdog: Could you push yours in all the way in the front or back even when it was inflated?? I mean on your new model?? I just wasn't able to do that before.
