tough one eh!, 50/50. any chance of ivf using your egg and husbands sperm then using science to see if the embryo has both cf genes/ i dont know if thats possible or even ethical however its my thought anyway. consideration must go to the child also. even if the child did not have cf, are you healthy enough to be a nurturing mother for the next decade or more? i never thought of that until a child of someone with CF piped up on here with the thought the parents only consider themselves and not the quality of life the child will be given. i have two boys aged 8 and 10. my battle with cf now weighs heavily on their emmotions as they grow older and more aware of CF's consequenses and limitations. that being said i wouldnt change our decission to have children. all the best and i hope you gain peace over this decission regardless of what you decide.
