I started a simliar thread a long long time ago. I have no booty either. Kybert is like a denimologist I kidd you not. You might PM her. She gave me some good tips. One she mentioned (though pricey) was Lucky Brand..they get pretty small. I have also had some luck with UnionBay in the juniors section the have a 00 that's pretty tiny. Also, keep in mind that alterations don't break the bank. Ultimately though...my pants are always falling down. I don't even have to unzip to get them off...just stand and wiggle until they drop (handy when intoxicated). but at least with the two above they don't look like I borrowed someone elses jeans. Good Luck, if you find something great let us know.

PS: I tried e-mailing Oprah our plight...maybe we could try a mass onslaught of e-mails.

Thanks all for your suggestions - next time I decide to spend a day trying on pants, I will have this list handy of where to go!!!

One thing - I'm not a size 0, I typically wear a 6 (depending on the maker of course). I've also found that makers aren't making jeans for small sizes anymore, since the U.S. is getting fatter!!!

Debbie, I love your idea of emailing Oprah. However maybe I'll try Ellen (since I'm not a fan of O). Besides, O is a bigger person and may not quite get it <img src="i/expressions/face-icon-small-wink.gif" border="0"> Also, I LOVE your quote by Gloria !!! (I've been meaning to tell you )

Thanks all

I have a problem with pants as well.

I am about a size 3 at the moment. I have found that Kohl's has several brands that fit me well. Paris Blues are awesome and I like GLO and Angels as well - they are all in the Juniors section. I can NOT in any way shape or form fit into women's jeans. I have little in the hippage area and they all seem to have "built in hips" as I like to call them.

Also something that I found works well for me ... my problem lies in my thighs as well ... I have stick legs ... I always had a hard time finding pants that fit BOTH my legs and butt. My butt fortunately is a bigger size than my legs require but if it fits my butt I look like I am standing on toothpicks drapped with denim and if it fts my legs it doesn't fit length wise (I'm 5'7).

Go for Long anything whatever size you get - that is what I found works best for me if there is a long option I take it. Also if you find jeans that offer a semi stretchy fabric - not like spandex but some brands offer stretchier fabric than others .. like Angels or I think even Bongo maybe (though I will say I have never worn Bongo jeans).

When I was a bit larger in size .. meaning around 5 to 7 I found that American Eagles jeans fit me really well in the butt and everything. Once I dropped weight though they didn't fit as well, so I had to start shopping elsewhere.

Good luck on finding Jeans that you like that fit well. AND when you do find them, do what I do and buy several pairs of the same jeans lol who cares if they look the same at least you have something that fits well. That way you don't have to wear the same pair over and over and over again.

Take Care,
Lindsey

Thankfully I have somewhat of a butt, but its my stomach and hips that are so tiny, so its hard to find jeans that fit me perfectly. That being said, I buy my jeans from Sirens or Stitches. I'm a seze 3 and usually buy the retro straight leg tight fitting ones, or ones with a bit of a flare to them.

Oh, it feels so good to finally find women in the same boat!

I've had this problem for years now. The fabric on all pants/jeans just hangs on my butt and bunches at my thighs and hangs down my waist (I'm 5'1, 92 pounds). I have no meat to fill them out. I don't even feel comfortable wearing regular pants anymore and leggings just make me look like "Chicken Little". I've resorted to a lot of form-fitting/flattering sweat pants from the Gap or DKNY etc. I try to find drawstring pants with soft material. My body aches a lot from coughing so I just love to cozy up in my fleece sweats. Not exactly great for getting around town, but the sicker I get the more I opt for comfort over looks.

Appreciate the name-brand suggestions for jeans and never thought about the Jr. section...maybe I should.

Thanks!
