Skirts? Really? When it's 10* outside???
Growing up that was my answer, to wear skirts and dresses, and yes, they were more flatterng on me than jeans. But now that I don't work, I need casual clothes. Also, with the gusts of winds and freezing temperatures, skirts are not always the wisest choice <img src="i/expressions/face-icon-small-wink.gif" border="0">

I am more comfortable in jeans & my hubby thinks I am more womanly (shows y a$$ more) in them then any skirt tho that would give easy access...LOL!

I am more comfortable in jeans & my hubby thinks I am more womanly (shows y a$$ more) in them then any skirt tho that would give easy access...LOL!

I'm going to have to agree with kybert....designer jeans! I always have such a hard time finding jeans because I'm a zero or subzero some places! I have a butt and what not, although it's not huge by any means, but kybert's right. Designer jeans are made for slim people that may not have as much curve. Sometimes you can find them for a more realistic price at an upscale secondhand store or on eBay once you've figured out your size. I'm a fan of 7 For All Mankind, too. You should all look into those!

be careful on ebay. lots of fakes. they are easy to spot though if you read some guides. a good secondhand website is www.honestforum.com . when most people list their jeans they list measurements too so you can compare them with your existing jeans and get the right size. they are mostly genuine [the fakes get 'outted' by the members] and reasonably priced. lots of online retailers have sales too. www.revolveclothing.com have lots of sales and good discount coupons. always ask for hip measurements as well as the waist measurement. some brands have quite big hip measurements and are no good for us! and remember, buy them jeans tiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiight!

Pants hmmmm. I'm short without the rear so I tent to shop in the kids department for pants. I have found some cute ones that fit quite nicely. My favorite, I actually picked up at Target! I live in Northern CA and there is a store called City Wear that seems to cater to the rearless. I have some good pairs of jeans that fit well, if you're on the short side they do require some hemming up but it's cheaper than the designer brands.

however, that "it's nice that when we do WANT to wear jeans, that we wear ones that FIT"

There is an idea.....no super model bodies just normal, average not hollywood shapes!
