for women

Oh, it feels so good to finally find women in the same boat!

I've had this problem for years now. The fabric on all pants/jeans just hangs on my butt and bunches at my thighs and hangs down my waist (I'm 5'1, 92 pounds). I have no meat to fill them out. I don't even feel comfortable wearing regular pants anymore and leggings just make me look like "Chicken Little". I've resorted to a lot of form-fitting/flattering sweat pants from the Gap or DKNY etc. I try to find drawstring pants with soft material. My body aches a lot from coughing so I just love to cozy up in my fleece sweats. Not exactly great for getting around town, but the sicker I get the more I opt for comfort over looks.

Appreciate the name-brand suggestions for jeans and never thought about the Jr. section...maybe I should.

Thanks!

Not that this will be of any help to you, but I think most women have trouble finding pants that fit! I know I do. I have a smallish bum (not too bad) but biggish hips, and NO thighs. That means that anything I can get over my hips is huge and baggy around the legs. It sends me mad... so you're not the only one!

Yay, more people with the same problem as me!! I have no butt and I'm tall, so finding ones long enough that fit around the butt suck. I have tried Glo and those worked pretty well but my favorite right now is something called Hydraulic, I'm the happiest I've been for a long time with those. I'll have to try some of these other ones too.

ARRRRGGGHHHH. im going to say it again. designer jeans! almost every pair of designer jeans fits me around my bum and thighs whereas if i went to somewhere like target the thighs are HUGE! i hate to sound like a snob but designer jeans are slimmer because they want slim people wearing their stuff. cheaper pants are bigger because they want average sized people wearing their stuff. its as simple as that. also, when buying stretch jeans you HAVE to buy them as tight as possible. and when i mean tight, i mean tight as in cutting off the circulation to your legs. jeans can stretch a whole size after a few wears so you will end up with a big potato sack if you buy a comfortable size at the start.

cummon folks. you are better off splurging on one pair of awesome looking jeans that make you look like a million bucks rather than several pairs of jeans that look like your ready to shoplift things down them.

haha, I wear fat people jeans. Designers don't want me.

One reasonably priced store we found that worked for Ry ( I know, a boy, but hell, give it a shot) was American Eagle. You used to get all kinds of cranky at me because it was 'too preppy', so I tore off the labels lol. They are one of the few stores that make a men's XS, and I can only imagine thier sizing would be equally generous for women.

I have not one pair of jeans that fit me. I gained so much weight that I just wear city lights and hard tail forever yoga clothing. I gave away all my jeans. I am looking for a nice tight but flattering jean. Love the stretch. I love juicy couture velour outfits and anything that is clingly or dkny. All the jeans fit well but I cannot stand the tight feeling. The stretch they use in jeans today are like two percent. Not that good. The more expensive they are, the less stretch.

I think if you feel comfortable in whatever you wear, you will look great. It is all in the way you feel about yourself. A little makeup and the hair with the right outfit and you are good to go.

I hate finding pants! Like the rest of you, I have no hips, butt or thighs, but I have a little round tummy and my legs are really short, so my proportions are all messed up. Whenever I wear pants I look like I'm about ten years old. My solution: I wear skirts. Lots of funky, loose skirts. And heels, for the leg situation.
