HOME IV ??

Does anyone know if something called "Elastomeric Pumping Systems" is the same thing or similiar to the "Eclipse Balls"?

I am still investigation what meds I cant/can get at home without the need of being hooked to an IV PUMP.

When looking on my home health agency's website it shows this "elastomeric pumpking system" which "sounds" like what the eclipse balls do. I have been unsuccessfull to find any additional info via the internet to verify it tho.

Hi Melissa,
Yes they are the same thing. I am on them now and in the pages of info that comes with the drug info it says to infuse with the Elastomeric pump. Its the same thing as the balls but they have hard plastic around them ( kind of look like those glass glade candles) and can sit flat on a surface. Heres a pic of mine

Yes they are the same thing. I am on them now and in the pages of info that comes with the drug info it says to infuse with the Elastomeric pump. Its the same thing as the balls but they have hard plastic around them ( kind of look like those glass glade candles) and can sit flat on a surface. Heres a pic of mine

UMMM Diane? Where is the pic LOL? So you can carry them around in your pocket, but just have a different name. THANKS!
