Indemnities????

Thanks to my sweet, wonderful, Mel, I now know about indemnities. Thank God! All these hospital stays and home i.v.'s that I could have been getting paid for!!<img src="i/expressions/face-icon-small-disgusted.gif" border="0"> I told her she made my YEAR by telling me about indemnities. Anyways...question is...we have Combined now, but wanted to add one more policy. Mel mentioned Pioneer, but there are tons of 'Pioneer' insurance companies listed online. I want another company like Combined that also pays for the 'home-health' part. If you know of any companies that do the 'home-health' part also, would you mind telling me who they are and a contact number???

Sure, Amy! Another word for it would be a 'sickness' insurance plan. Not really meant for cfer's, but we sure can use it! You pay a monthly premium, locked in forever, and get paid money for everyday you are in the hospital, and some of the plans even pay you for every day you have 'recovery' time at home. Zoe's monthly fee is only $20 because she is 0-19 years old. She will get to keep this insurance forever at that price. Considering she has been in the hospital & home health care twice every year for the last 2 years, it will definately help us with Scott taking off of work everytime.

I have Aflac, and though I have to wait a year for the policy to cover preexisiting conditions, they are going to be sorry they ever gave me a policy.... HA
