when you boil the distilled do you boil in the microwave or stove top?and do you just make a 1days batch and at the end of the day if you have any left over throw it out or use the next day?I also have another question for you.For your 7year old do you use the vest for airway clearance?and if so are there any problems with that and the G-tube.My daughters g-tube bleeds every time when using the vest and it is very sore after vest. she has had the g-tube giong on 3 years

I boil tap water on the stove for about 20 minutes and put it in a quart jar (which I washed in the dishwasher) and keep in the fridge for a couple days.

I used regular saline nasal spray and then simply saline for DS when he was smaller, but trying to have him blow his nose or suck out that stuff with a bulb syringe didn't work, his boogies were too thick. First time I used nasal rinse on him when he was 4 I was amazed at all the crud that came out of that teeny tiny little nose. And I almost vomited it was so gross.

This is a great idea.

I have an electric teapot. I wonder if that would work?

Also. does anyone buy sterile water?

Dare I even admit that sometimes (most times) I'm just lazy and use tap water? I can almost hear the gasps of horror. <img src="i/expressions/face-icon-small-smile.gif" border="0">
