Nasal Irrigations

What kind or water do you use for your nasal irrigations?
I know not distilled now,thanks for that post.should I buy sterile water? I have some kind of water thing under my sink the State of Florida had it installed when I took a sample of my well water to my county extention office and it came back with nitrates so the county called the state to report it and they put that in (before Aubree was discharged from the hosp. at birth) they said it could cause something called blue baby syndrome not sure what that is but I an calling the company that installed it to ask what it does for sure they come out once a year and change something on it so I need to know what I have.anyway if it is a filter maybe I can just sterlize to use in the grossan irrigater but I want to be sure first.if any one can suggest let me know Thanks

I use regular 0.9% sterile saline for Ellie. It's prepackaged into 3mL plastic tubes for nebulizing purposes...I just use it for nasal washes instead....
