Thank you for you input Blake, I will take into consideration what you are saying.
I will state it again.. The point of this project is to make Healthcare workers in the emergency room more aware of the patients needs. It wasn't about my experience in the emergency room.and I apologize if I can across the wrong way. I did state in my orginal post I didn't mean to be rude.. I love the staff I work with and that is why I fought so hard to work there... I think they are great. I have received nothing but wonderful care in the emergency room. What I wrote was writen from a pile of thoughts that I got after talking to patients in the ER and after working there for 5 years.
I am glad you have such as you say " a big mouth" That is good that you can say what you want, and have no trouble with that. NOT EVERYONE can. when I was your age I was not able to.
The point of the project is to make them aware. THankfully you don't work with me Blake, so my newsletter is "safe" from being thrown in the trash.
Your comment about me being a victim. I would love for you to be able to qualify that.. I use my blog to vent, talk things out and share my heart.BUT . If you looked at my actual life, the things I have gone though that you KNOW NOTHING ABOUT and the things that I HAVE OVERCOME I think you would find I have nothing but a victory mentality.. I have made my life very successful in spite of anything I had to deal with...usually statistically a victim doesn't.. Again I didn't think my posts where making me come across that way, this is the first time I heard of this...and I am not really sure I care.. but maybe I do.. I will have to think about it
So again, thanks for you input. Glad you don't work with me so my paper is safe, and luckily for me, what I wrote seems to be a huge success, but even if it was not. It would be okay with me. What I wrote on here was very raw.. and I stated myself IT NEEDS WORK..
I came here for input from people who know what it is like to be a patient..Good bad or indifferent.. THough I think downright rudeness is uncalled for, I also realize on the internet you deal with all different types of people...
.I really am glad you have had so much success in your health care. I hope it continues. but in the event that one day you are laying cold, half dressedand short of breath on a stretcher.. maybe then you will understand what Iwas trying to convey.. and why I think it is important for health care workers to be sensitive.
