Hi missT. Venting is good.  Like you, I'm the only one in my family with CF and nobody understands. Hang in, there will be a cure in your lifetime, maybe even mine.   Bill

I have just have had surgery for hyperPARAthyroidism.  The parathyroids (4 of then) are located behind the thyroid.   The symptoms are similiar to much that has been written above.  I would suggest that you google parathyroidsm.com.   Bill

I don't know.  I'm 71 and I haven't died yet.  You have a long life in front of you, be interested in how you will live and dying will take care of its self when it comes. Besides there will be a CURE in your lifetime.   Bill

Hi Matt: I'm male 71 with CF.  I was dx at age 47 (in 1987) and things have changed so much from then. I would suggest that your first order of business should be for you to get yourself into a CF Center for an evaluation and a program.   Good luck, Bill
