Tami- It's funny but I didn't even think about the amount of illness I had to deal with while it was happening. But now when I look back I have no clue how I handled it so well! For others- Avery was on prednisolone not prednisone! Two very different drugs!

How does the heel prick test work? Does it take the blood and then test it for the mutations? I am a little confused if you cant tell. But I do think an automatic testing at birth would be wonderful!!!

I just realized our insurance sucks! After 12 visits in a year to the doctor, our co-pays go from $25 to $50!!!!! What is funny is that my 10 mo. old non-cfer is the one who has already maxed out on Dr. visits. Without realizing it his last 3 pediatric appointments have all been $50 each...
