Hey there,
If you were already thinking about it then I would assume you have more reason to do so know. Here are a few things I would keep in mind if I were you. If you do homeschool, then make sure your children have other outlets to socialize and feel normal. Will you homeschool your non...
Hi,
I just wanted to share some good news (with all the negative posts recently I thought it might cheer us up). My daughter had her first bronchoscopy last week and it went very well. Our CF doc told us her lungs looked like a healthy non CFers lungs!!! Can you imagine? I was grinning ear...
Hi,
My daughter started potty training pretty early, at about twenty months. Now she is twenty-four months and still going at it. She loves using the potty and is willing to do so most of the time without a fight. Sometimes she even tells me when she needs to go most of the time. The...
Whatever program you save your pictures in should allow you the optioin to change the picture size before you save. Mine has the option to save it as "best for web" size. This allowed my pictures to be small enough to attach to the forum. Hope this helps.
our doctor gives us one prescription for miralax at a time. I think because he doesn't want us to use it long term, but I am not exactly sure. Hope this helps.
Welcome. Don't worry about the time difference we have many people on this forum who post late at night and even early in the morning. I look forward to hearing from you.

I think you posted on this earlier...right? I definitely recommend ordering another sweat test!!!! My newborn son (who does not have CF) tested borderline on the sweat test and I demanded a genetic test to make sure...and of course we got lucky and he is ok. When it comes to sweat...
Kristen,
My daughter is relatively healthy as well. Just a few colds and sinus infections occasionally. But we still do pulmozyme once per day and do the Vest twice per day for twenty minutes in order to prevent her from getting sick. We think of the treatments as prevention. Do you see a CF...
Katie,
I posted a recipe a few months ago on your thread. It was called "Oodles and Noodles of Cheese." Did you get it? If not I would be happy to repost it.
My daughter is two and goes back and forth on her desire to do the vest. Some times she loves it, sometimes she hates it. I bribe her by allowing her to watch one of her movies or one of her favorite cartoons. She only gets to sit in the front of the tv when she does the vest, so usually she...
Hi everyone,
When my daughter was diagnosed, the Doctor told us right away that their clinic was aggressive when it comes to treatment of CF. Our daughter has a mild case of CF. Her pft's and lung x-rays are great!!! Eventhough she is doing so well, she is on a regimen that includes...
My daughter is in daycare and does really well. But I think it may be due to the fact that so far her CF is mild. However, another child w/CF I know does not go to daycare is ill often. I think her mother has made the right choice to stay home with her. So, the decision is not only...
