I hate to dignify this with a reply. My only reply to the other posters. This post is not about denial or anger IMO. This post is just OFFENSIVE to everyone who is fighting this disease daily (either personally or with this child, spouse, etc.

Hi Cindy,
My husband and I are TTC. We initially started trying in 2008, but I went through a very rough period with my health. I kind of have to agree with mamaScarlett. While being on IV every 3 mos doesn't prohibit you from getting pregnant, I think that if this is an increase for you, you...

I am TTC and had the same situation. My OB/Gyn (who doesn't know me all that well) said it was okay to stay on all my meds, including Tobi and Colistin. My CF doc said he's prefer I stop Tobi and Colistin. Instead, he is putting me on Cayston, since Azteonam is a category 'B' drug, as is...

Hi all,
I have recently (over the last month) been having increased GI issues (gas, bloating, etc). I currently take Creon 20 - 7 w/meals, which is the max dose I can be on. So, my nutritionist is sending me samples of Zenpep to see if I notice a change. Has anyone made this switch? If so, was...

I second what rwatterson said. I am a genetic counselor and have never heard of insurance covering PGD (unfortunately, they feel having a healthy child is a luxury). I would triple check this. If it is covered, I'd suggest starting the process now.

I would also say that it is just trial and error (and def don't count on NOT being able to conceive). I always thought the issue was more one of cervical mucus, so thanks for the extra info mamascarlett! My husband and I are on month #3 of TTC and hoping for the best! My OB said they initiate a...

Hi,
I'm not pregnant (tho I really hope to be soon!), but my sister had post (and I suppose pre) partum depression. I think you should definitely discuss this with your OB. I don't necessarily think it will get better (hope it does) with the birth of your little one. Maybe you should consider...
