I have gone to Hahnemann for my adult care for the last eight years. I love the doctor there (Dr. Jeff Hoag). He is HANDS DOWN the easiest doctor to talk to that I've ever had and is very caring. The nurse coordinator is great also. They do always give CFers private rms. I agree with Becki. When...

Blue,
Thanks for sharing your story. I will probably give it six months of trying before seeing a fertility specialist. I will be 29 in July and wouldn't want to be much past 30 having a baby.

Hi all,
My husband and I are TTC. About two years ago, we tried for 4-5 mos, then I hit a rough patch healthwise. Now, we are trying again <img src="i/expressions/face-icon-small-happy.gif" border="0"> I suppose I anticipate needing help conceiving and was wondering how long those of you who...

Hi,
Sorry to hear about your husband's recent downturn. A drop in pft's isn't always permanent by any means. My pft's had dropped by about 15% pts over the last yr or soand recently bounced back 10% pts.
Anyway, if you are looking to chat with another CF spouse, my husband would be happy to...

Hi!
I have had a port for a year and a half, and it was probably the best healthcare decision I've ever made! I had been worried about the scar/cosmetic issues of having one, but the scar is small and it doesn't protrude much. Mine is in my left upper chest. If you have any questions about the...

Hi all,
I was just generally wondering when (FEV1-wise) you started to use oxygen. Currently, my FEV1 is in the high 50%'s, and at rest, my ox sat is usually 96%. Just wondering what other people's experiences have been...

I have only been on oxygen a few times when my FEV1 was in the 40's or lower. I am surprised to hear that docs would put someone on oxygen with a pulse ox of 95 or 96, that really seems like overkill. I was always told that over 90 is okay.
