From atypical CF to CRMS. We were at clinic today, and the doc said that although he was changing the dx., he was not changing anything else, and was still keeping them on precautions for everything. He did say that if they culture any of the main cf bugs, that they will change it to CF, but for...

We go back to clinic in two weeks, and could use some thoughts on this.
DD (7) and DS (5) have been dx as atypical cf. They both had borderline and negative sweat tests. Both have huge GI issues, some lungissues. DS has had pneumonia multiple times the past 3 years, DD has had it twice a year...

We had a clinic appointment 3 weeks ago. I mentioned that DS was still coughing - it seems like he has been coughing since October. The doctor listened, thought he sounded fine, but decided to get an x-ray anyway. The x-ray showed a lot of "sludge" in his lungs, and pnuemonia in the right lung...

I have 4 kids. The oldest is adopted, so I have no worries about him. Oldest DD and YDS both have symptoms, which prompted all of the testing. I always assumed that my youngest DD was fine, and that we would test her to see if she was a carrier later, when she was thinking of having children...

My guys switched from pancrease to creon over the summer. DS is 4 and takes creon 12 - 3 at meals and one at snack time. He has had no problems.
DD is 6 and takes creon 12 as well - 6 with meals and 4 with snacks, and is not doing well since switching. She only weighs 40 pounds, so she should...

Thanks everyone. While I do trust their doctor, I am going to call back and talk to him again, and see if I can also talk to another doctor in the clinic.
