When I am on home IV's I take the med and put it in a bowl of really hot water just to warm it up a bit before I infuse. That way you do not have to do it so far in advance and the med is ready to go in no time. Or I run it under the faucet under hot water.

I was diagnosed when I was 2 and my parents did chest PT twice a day until I was able to do it for myself twice a day and now I use the flutter and vest. I have always had some form of it done since diagnosis 2 X day and up to 4 times a day.

I have found the product called Oust or Lysol's version works wonders! It really takes the stink out and not just mask it. My husband thinks it works great and I have to say I could kill someone after going to the bathroom!!!! Ha Ha we always laught so hard about it!!!
