Deb, my son sees Dr. Reyes (who used to be the director of the cf clinic in OkC before Royal). Sometimes I feel like we are getting nowhere too. Don't get me wrong, his doctor has done all the tests that can be performed/required. It's just I feel like he is "falling through the cracks".

Our problem/frustration is just the opposite of yours - my son has had 2 positive sweat tests, 1 borderline, a genzyme blood analysis and an Ambry extended anyalysis with no mutations found.
He goes back to the pulmo (who once was the CF director at the clinic in Ok. City) later this month...

When my son races (especially in the summertime) we pump him up with gatorade days/weeks ahead of time - you can't just drink the gatorade on race day - juice up before hand. We also stock up on pedialyte popsicles. They don't taste very good, but it does help.
