Tami,
She loved that Dora thing, we also had it from Christmas to July. Finally, I just let her take it outside one day with all of her paints and paint all over it. I'm not sure who had more paint, Abby or Dora!!
And I agree, we do all have beautiful children.
My daughter had her first infant pft when she was about 17 months old. The hardest part was when she was waking up from the sedative. She was cranky and wanted to get down but still had too much in her system and couldn't even sit up. Take a stroller that lays back if you have one. You...
You are describing my daughter exactly. She will go in spurts where she eats all the time and will eat a little more variety. Right now she's in a stage where all she wants is Arby's curly fries and cheese. She refuses to eat anything else and usually ends up winning the power struggle...

AmericaRX carries the Pari LC plus for $12.69 which is the cheapest I've found without getting...
I hadn't watched soaps in years, but now that I'm not working I find myself gravitating back to Days of Our Lives. What's very sad is that I don't normally watch it in the afternoon, but late at night when it's on soapnet. It's like my dirty little secret!!
I had mine tied last year. Abby is our only child and the doctor tried to talk us out of it. Overall, I'm glad we went through with it although there are times when the baby urge hits. Probably true with everybody, tubes tied or not.
A lot of factors went into our decision, CF being a big...
I wish I knew why this happened also. My daughter sweats profusely when she sleeps, her pillow is drenched every morning. Weird that it's only her head that sweats like that, her body never feels sweaty.
I'm curious to see if others experience this and if there's a reason.
Hi Misty,
I did work full time and it worked out fine for us. We had two great daycares, one was a mom who cared for kids in her home. She finally decided to retire from daycare so we put her in a small group daycare. She did equally well in both and both worked with us and the cf issues...
Our CF doc encouraged us to send Abby to daycare. She's done very well there and only picked up a few colds from the other kids. Nothing she wouldn't have gotten off the shopping cart at the grocery store (which I personally think has more germs than most kids at daycare).
Her daycare...
Christi,
I too, would like to apologize for not really answering your initial question but going off on my own rant on the pros/cons of working mothers.
I personally have never nannied, but have thought about doing it myself. If it wasn't for my husbands weird work schedule I probably would...
Oh, one more thing to ask about when you get there. Our hospital has a program where the nursing students volunteer to spend time with the children on the floor and it's optional for parents. We, thankfully, took them up on the offer and were assigned a very nice, thoughtful girl. She would...
We absolutely move in when Abby was in for 2 weeks in January. We took 5 bags with us and left with 10 by the time she acquired new toys from visiting family and friends and the hospital lifecenter. Our hospital doesn't allow her to play with toys from the hospital play room so we had to bring...
Amy, I respect your opinion but I believe it's not always in the childs best interest to have a stay-at-home mom. I have experience on both sides of the spectrum so feel that I can honestly say that my daughter and I have a better relationship when I'm working. I also know a few children who...
