I'm going to weigh in one last time...
I read the post. I am one of those who reported it to the mods to be moved, as I had every right to do. It was not so much that I did not find the post relevant (which it isn't), but that I did not find this post to be respectful (see, Julie's "I don't...

You missed the important keyword...
I have to agree with LisaV.
This does not belong on the Adults board. It IS off topic to every CF person BUT you.
Second, "Just following orders" is not a valid legal (or IMHO moral) excuse. Both the Geneva convention and US military law support this.
Escape from "Care Bear Land
The best way to avoid drama is to ignore it and continue posting things that are relevant.
It will be a shame to see you leave. Hopefully you will return!

Julie, enough. I really think you need to let go and stop trying to get the last dig in on SD or technoboy.
If you have a problem with it being on the board, you can do your 50% and say nothing.
To the anon asking about the Trek battery - ours does about 12 mL worth (about a day) of nebs before it's empty. We're planning on getting a second battery to take with us.
I'll add another voice to the crowd here.
I'm engaged (two months and a few days to go until our wedding!) to a guy with CF. We're going to spend two days backpacking on Isle Royale as part of our honeymoon. We'll be packing his Pari Trek (a portable nebulizer with a battery pack) and...
Just a heads up for order of nebs:
Bronchiodilators first (albuterol)
HS next (and coughing up mucus)
Antibiotics last (you want it to STAY in your lungs and war with the bacteria - not cough it right back out).
Another voice in the "Take your vitamins, it's important for your health" crowd.
I'm also going to second Jane's recommendation for the SourceCF softgel. It's made for CF patients with the bonus of being a softgel. Jeremy likes them a lot (he complained about the gross taste of the adeks too...

I'm sorry bucko, but for having the lack of compassion and complete lack of humanity it took to say that...
I want you banned.
There is NO excuse. Absolutely zero. End of...
You asked for suggestions.
I offered that there is no other option - as if you want medication you have to deal with animal testing. I also offered reasons why animal testing is important and ethical.
If your ethics say animals > people, then animal testing is wrong, and you should flush all...

My dillema was not that CFF SHOULD NOT test on animals and why they do or don't, it is how I can support them knowing they do. It is a morality issue, not a "should" or "should not". </end quote></div>
See my post...
I'm sorry, but PETA does have a history of extremist viewpoints.
So then, you want all human testing and no new formulations for cosmetics ever?
Are you a toxicologist or a chemist? Data from prior research only gets you so far. Once testing is done on a product it's done. They don't think...
This is why it fails to apply to the CFF and the pharma industry - quote from the FDA's website...
