    Controversial Topic

Psst, wanna know a secret? Those companies can do that because of years of published animal study data. Plus, using PETA as a source in any debate is extremely questionable.

    vegetarian with cf????

I would say you will need to find a dietician that will be both supportive of your preferences for vegan and be able to tell you if at some point later your son DOES have to get animal proteins and fats in order to gain and maintain a proper weight. Plus, you will need to discuss how and from...

    Controversial Topic

Sigh... "by the way, if more companies would use non-chemical ingredients in their products, there would be a much less need for animal testing" Is bull. Everything is a chemical, and everything has toxicity and hazards associated with it. Granola-crunchiness does not make something...

    Can I mix....

What we're been told... Don't mix anything with pulmozyme. Have a pulmozyme-only neb cup for use with it. Don't mix anything with Tobi. Mixing albuterol, atrovent, and mucomyst (with his dosages it's 5 mLs, which is under the max for the pari lc plus) is ok. SeanD - *ChemE love* Mmmmm...

    Hours of work...

<div class="FTQUOTE"><begin quote><i>Originally posted by: <b>2005CFmom</b></i> The CF tag line is on the back of the shirt.</end quote></div> Color me corrected - I've had a bit of an off morning.

    Hours of work...

Suggestion for the Spousal abuse shirts... I think they should also carry the "Cure Cystic Fibrosis" tagline below. I so need to get me one of those.

How do you know your son is a carrier?

    Megace and high blood sugar

I think I would be concerned about the use of a female hormone derivative on a young male.

    AAAARRRRRGGGGGGG

Do you have close family in town? If so, I would seriously consider sending your daughter to stay with them while the other is sick. That is definately something you don't want a CFer to get, ever.

Pulmozyme- Give me the good, bad and the ugly

Jeremy does not use Pulmozyme - he thought it made his mucus too liquidy and harder to cough up. However, I know some people swear by it.

    Much More Friendly Place!!!

And I reckon you would be more welcome on the "Too Spineless to post a name" forum. You are the reason there shouldn't be anonymous posting. You are posting things to continue drama and stir up trouble with people who DO have useful things to say. Since I have no idea what you may have posted...

    CF Progresion

Fever - you should rest, have tylenol, and eat soup. I'm more than will to defend those who are unfairly insulted. Rar at insulting!

    CF Progresion

I was going to let your comment about Lisa and the "AP" slide, Anon. However, when you get so spineless as to insult someone for age - you have crossed the line.

    HAPPY POST!

Message boards kept me sane in college... It's a good break when lectures/studying cause your brain to start dribbling out your ears.

    HAPPY POST!

Whoo hoo! It must be puppy season. Congrats! Jeremy and I are getting a labrador in a few weeks.

Here's what I've got to say for myself

No, I have every reason and right to state that. I really thought you should know that you have managed to alienate people who had no problem with you until today's antics. It's your problem if that doesn't bother you.

Here's what I've got to say for myself

No, it wasn't directed "solely" at Allie, it was directed at 5 people out of 2446 current registers users, 0.2% of the user group. One of these posters has over 200 posts to her current name (not counting her previous forum name), three have over 1000, and one has over 400. Guess what. I had...

Here's what I've got to say for myself

RoyalPrince, my comment was in no way directed at you. Julie, it was entirely meant for you. And you little "but if you want to take this one, feel free to do so" with the smilie was irritating and rude. It's nice to see you take my opinion so lightly as to brush it off upon others.

    Questions about Colistin

The time is probably due to the issue of volume... 3 mls vs 5 mls. That dosage is less than what Jeremy uses when he's on Colistin, but that's more of a doctor/Rx thing. Jeremy puts 3-4 mls of sterile water in the colistin vial then nebs it all, using two vials per day. In my non-medical...
